Pestilence

And I will kill her children with death,

and all the Churches shall know that I am he which search the reins and hearts:

and I will give unto every one of you according unto your works.

Revelation 2:23 GNV

I will kill with death... with plague... with pestilence.

This passage has nothing to do with what I'm trying to do with this series (it is about the church of Thyatira which was engaged in idolatrous worship), but it stood out to me this week, so it became my series title.

The actual inspiration for this was a reflection on life, death, pests, and the pesky work that goes into any sort of growth. As the proceeds from this show will go to a hospital nestled among the rice terraces of Banaue, my train of thought led me to the natural pests of the field.
